Halcrow Romania prepared the full application, including the Feasibility study, in accordance with the Phare 2004 Cross Border Cooperation Programme, neighbouring programme Romania - Serbia and Montenegro. Following the evaluation process, the application was selected to be financed through the abovementioned Programme. Currently, Halcrow was appointed to develop the Technical and Detail Design for this application.

The Project consists in the rehabilitation of an old school building in Garana-Caras-Severin County as a modern tourist information Centre, equipped with conference rooms, offices for tourist information, provision of a web site for promoting the tourism in the area, editing of brochures and albums in order to raise the tourist knowledge on this area. The project’s target is to increase the cooperation between the partners in Romania and Serbia and Montenegro.
