Halcrow Romania was appointed in November 2006 by Resita Local Council to prepare all the documentation required by the Romanian Legislation for the development of an existing Greenfield as a new Industrial Area. The scope of works includes the following:

	Preparation of Local Urbanism Plan for the proposed destination of the approximately 30 ha of land.
	Field studies including geotechnical investigation for Technical Design (boreholes, disturbed and undisturbed soil sampling, laboratory soil analysis), topographical survey.
	Environmental documentation for obtaining the environmental permit.
	Preparation of Feasibility study, including cost benefit analysis.
	Preparation of technical design, detail design and assistance during the construction works.

The first four tasks were successfully completed to date, and the final task is very near completion
