Halcrow Romania prepared the full application, including the Feasibility study, in accordance with the Phare 2004 Cross Border Cooperation Programme, neighbouring program Romania – Serbia & Montenegro.
Following the evaluation process, the application was selected to be financed through the above mentioned Programme.
The Project consists in the rehabilitation of a floor from a former military unit in Resita, as headquarters for the decentralised services with attributions in the interventions in case of natural disasters and emergency situations. Supply of communication equipments as endowments is also part of the Project.
The main purpose of the project is to encourage the cooperation between the services in the two countries to develop lines of communications and common procedures in case of emergencies.
