The objectives of the present project have been proposed following the catastrophic floods that took place in Europe between 1998 and 2005 that ended in the death of more than 700 people and over 25 billion other damages.

The aims of the project are:

	to identify the hydro-graphic basins where runs the risk of floods
	to regionalise and to asses the flood risk using plotting equipments
	to estimate the tendencies of some possible future floods
	to present some measurements and scenarios of the risk areas from the risk maps in order to reduce flood hazard.

The main approach method to the project is the 1D and 2D hydro-dynamic modelling, on 3 levels of topographic details using the ISIS, DSF, and Delta Mapper software.
