Halcrow was appointed by Thames Gateway South Essex Partnership, working closely with Castle Point Borough Council and The East of England Development Agency, to undertake a scoping study to assess potential development options within the context of the South West Canvey Island Regeneration Zone.
The study is a critical step in understanding the contribution that Canvey Island can make to delivering government objectives for the Thames Gateway in South Essex, and presents the business case for financial support from the ODPM via the Sustainable Communities Fund.
