Hacrow, in joint venture with Babtie Asia Ltd, were commissioned by the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) to carry out the detailed design and construction supervision of a new railway station adjacent to the existing Tai Wai East Rail station in the Hong Kong New Territories.
The project involved construction of internal walls for the new station butting up against the existing station platform walls.
Two subways were also constructed beneath the existing live rail tracks.
