Scope:
The objective of the project is to aid in reducing poorness in the States of Falcón, Yaracuy and Miranda and reduce the vulnerability of the populations in relation to floods. These three states, located in the north coast line of the country, are formed by mountainous areas, whose main catchments correspond to rivers: Tocuyo (Falcón State), Aroa (Yaracuy) and Tuy (Miranda). Such catchments correspond to three different states, which imply the existence of several public and private organizations that work in the three areas; it will be a priority of the project to develop the capacity to work as mediator to promote the interstate and inter-institutional coordination.
