Halcrow prepared the Feasibility Report for the Project, which includes a range of different options and a recommended option.

The project aims to

	return the River Ver in Verulamium Park, St Albans, to its natural state as a chalk stream
	naturalise the existing lakes and improve their water quality
	undertaking of a comprehensive socio-economic survey
	improve the landscape of the park and the vista of St Albans Cathedral
	improve the value of the park for wildlife
	protect the archaeology of the site
