Associated with the redevelopment of Wembley National Stadium, Halcrow with Marks Barfield Architects have redesigned the stadium station which now includes a striking new bridge over the railway and provided a new public square and links from Wembley town centre to the Stadium. This is one of the Mayor of London's 100 Public Spaces.

The design of the square allows for the safe movement of up to 12,000 people per hour on event days and for marshalling by the police for those wishing to catch trains from the station.

On non match days, the square and other public areas are for the enjoyment and use of local people. The landscape design provides a quality standard for the new public realm in Wembley.
