Scope

Feasibility study for the North-South Inter-modal Transport Corridor in West Bengal state.

Based upon the evaluation of schemes, a two-part phased investment plan was prepared, consisting of a short to medium-term plan incorporating the top-ranked scheme packages mainly comprising roads, supported by a phased longer-term plan of investments.

Benefit to client

The project will produce a time-based investment plan for the north-south inter-modal transport corridor with the objectives of facilitating both domestic and international trade and opening up the northern districts of West Bengal for economic development, thus reducing the economic imbalances.
