The potential for the transfer of skill is effectively utilised within the Halcrow Group. Our local team's skills are often drawn upon from elsewhere in Halcrow – for example, we have recently completed toll forecasts for a client in the Philippines and continue to prepare patronage forecasts for a proposed airport rail link for Vancouver, Canada. Equally, we are able to draw on transport planning expertise from elsewhere in organisation – as part of the Adelaide model development, for example, we have utilised specialist expertise from the UK to seamlessly integrate the macro and micro-simulation models.
