Halcrow has been working in India for nearly a century and in 2001 established Halcrow Consulting India Pvt Ltd (HCIPL), the Group’s wholly owned Indian company, to facilitate the Halcrow Group’s development and expansion in India.

HCIPL is one of the fastest growing infrastructure consultants in India. With offices in New Delhi and Mumbai and plans to develop offices in South India we are working all over India on the development of infrastructure. Our current areas of operations include transport planning, roads, bridges, airports, rail, ports, urban planning, hydropower, water resources, urban water, oil and gas, environment and climate change.  .

Today, there are more than 170 staff employed by HCIPL in New Delhi, Mumbai and five project offices throughout India, including specialists in the fields of transportation, highways, rail, bridges, dams, water resources, environmental and civil engineering. HCIPL staff numbers have more than doubled during the past twelve months and are on course to achieve a staff complement of about 400 within four years.
