Technical Training
Halcrow understands that effective training enhances capabilities and enables you to get the most out of the software you use. We offer training courses for engineers, scientists and others involved in environmental and infrastructure management and development.
Our courses
Halcrow offers a wide range of courses covering the theory and practice of hydrology, hydraulics and flood risk management and the use of GIS. Our courses cover various software tools including ISIS, TUFLOW and Sands. Our courses have been specifically developed to:
- Provide cost-effective, well-structured and practical training
- Be run by a highly knowledgeable and specialist team.
- Be flexible and tailored to your specific needs.
- Be informal with a focus on interactive work in small groups.
The emphasis of these courses is on provision of practical training provided by experienced practitioners who are all keen to pass on their extensive experience.
Course materials
In addition to the presentations, comprehensive course notes, exercises and additional support material, everybody that attends a training course will receive a USB memory stick with the course material and relevant data uploaded to it.
