ISIS by Halcrow > Technical Training > 2D Flood Modelling with TUFLOW

2D Flood Modelling with TUFLOW

Overview

This two day course is aimed at those involved in the development and review of hydraulic models and focuses primarily on 2D floodplain representation.  The course assumes a basic understanding of 1D modelling and MapInfo, and is presented from a practical point of view by expert Halcrow modellers.

This course is delivered through a series of presentations, hands-on practicals and open discussion sessions. The purpose of the course is to introduce the concepts of full-2D and linked 1D-2D hydraulic modelling and to provide hands-on training for building TUFLOW models.

We can tailor this course to meet your specific requirements, contact us for details.
