Feature maps

These maps show locations of specific events, facilities and addresses across an area, such as the distribution of schools, retailer locations or areas of environmental interest.

We can take lists of addresses and place them on a map accurately using geocoding, providing more detailed information than traditional zip or postal codes can provide.

Our clients often use this type of service to track and understand the geographical distribution of groups of people, facilities or events.

Manhattan Community Board 1 atlas

	Data sources	Streets, shoreline, tax lots, real estate table, demographics, facilities, transportation, parks, buildings, historic districs, economic zones
	Client objective	Visualize the public data available from NYC sources.
	Map outcome	A series of maps were quickly created using information from our NYC spatial data warehouse.
	Client benefit	The community board atlas is an affordable way to get comprehensive information about a neighborhood. Both printed and digital copies were provided for a variety of uses.

NYC program sites, for Primary Care Development Corporation

	Data sources	City Council districts, boroughs, client data
	Client objective	Show the locations of their various types of health care programs around NYC.
	Map outcome	The client's address list was geocoded and symbolized according to their categories. Separate layouts were created for each borough, as well as a citywide overview.
