Regional maps

Our regional maps cover areas as large as a city, a state or province, a country, or a region and provide information as varied as terrain, historic or political data, and transportation networks.

Holyland Unfettered map for Brothers Publishing House

	Data sources	VMAP vector layers, SRTM elevation, and client's data
	Client objective	Design a map of the Middle East without political borders to promote peace.
	Map outcome	Available data was customized based on the client's research on historical sites for a unique map.
	Client benefit	A poster-sized map was printed commercially for sale to educational institutions. Later, "antique" and "Hebrew" editions were developed by their graphic designer.

Afghanistan map for the Foreign Policy Association

	Data sources	Digital Chart of the World
	Client objective	Illustrate regions of the world to provide context for foreign policy articles. Maps were created for Afghanistan, China, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and the European Union.
	Map outcome	Digital maps were produced to the magazine editor's specifications.
	Client benefit	Five high-quality maps were published in the "Great Decisions" annual journal.

Street map for the West Essex Board of REALTORS ®

	Data sources	GDT streets, municipal facilities, and client customized data
	Client objective	Produce a folded street map for their members to distribute to real estate clients in Essex County, NJ. Their existing map had incomplete information and an outdated design.
	Map outcome	The most current street data was purchased and then updated based on their member realtor's block-level knowledge for each neighborhood. A street index was created for the back of the map.
	Client benefit	This is the most accurate street map of the area, superceding other commercially available and municipal maps. The map has proven very popular with both realtors and their clients.
