About SANDS Free

SANDS Free allows restricted access to the tools and features within SANDS Viewer and SANDS Asset. It provides a powerful facility through which input data can be analysed to establish links between forcing and response. It also allows weather and shore condition data to be entered, stored, inspected and compared. By analysing means and trends of both climatic and beach profile data, trends in coastal response can be detected. It is also capable of storing, retrieving and analysing a wide range of environmental data, reports and records.

SANDS Free restrictions

SANDS Free restricts functionality to:

• 10 Locations
• 5000 Time Series Records per Location
• 1 Coastal Process Unit
• 50 Diary Entries
• 5 Additional GIS Layers
• A Single Database

Further restrictions are:

• No NFCDD Capability
• No FCRM Capability
• No SMP Policy Database
• No Wave Transformation Capability
