SANDS Analysis
Beach Profile Analysis
Beach Profile data recorded during surveys can be imported into SANDS for analysis. Once imported, SANDS can be used to check, view, edit and analyse this data. There are several different methods of analysing beach profile data in SANDS. Read more.
Time Series Analysis
Time-Series Data is defined as data that is recorded over time. Examples of this are outputs from wave recorders, tidal predictions, model output, and telemetry station records. Read more.
Volumetric Analysis
This function of SANDS enables the user calculate beach volumes derived from beach profile data (see also the Beach Profile Analysis section). Specific beach profile locations are selected and associated to form a ‘Coastal Process Unit’. Volumetric analysis can then be conducted for these units. Read more.
