SANDS Asset Management
This feature provides the user with the means to record, edit and analyse asset data via SANDS, which displays the data via the Mapping, and through additional new Diary forms.
The Mapping can display the asset lengths and identifiers. It is also possible to establish links to associated flood risk and coastal erosion mapping, so that the user can readily see which areas are protected by each defence asset. Users can then model various flood and erosion scenarios by varying the combinations of asset condition and extreme wave / water level events.Asset maintenance and repair costs will be included and related to valuations of the ‘at risk’ areas, e.g. properties, commercial buildings, environmental habitats etc.
