SANDS Volumetric Analysis
This function of SANDS enables the user calculate beach volumes derived from beach profile data (see also the Beach Profile Analysis section). Specific beach profile locations are selected and associated to form a ‘Coastal Process Unit’. Volumetric analysis can then be conducted for these units.
This feature can also produce comparative graphs of volumes and a plan area of the Process Unit viewable via the SANDS mapping function.
